WASHINGTON, Jan 27 (Reuters) - Farm-equipment maker Deere & Co DE.N is making a $70 million factory investment in North Carolina, U.S. President Donald Trump said in a speech on Tuesday.
Trump did not elaborate further on his comments but the company said in 2024 - when former President Joe Biden was in office - that it was committing to an investment of the same amount in Kernersville, North Carolina, that would add over 150 new jobs.
