Kadant Signs Deal to Acquire Voestalpine Bohler Profil

Kadant (KAI) said Thursday it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire voestalpine Bohler Profil, a supply partner to several Kadant businesses for over 30 years.

The company said the acquisition will be financed primarily through borrowings under its revolving credit facility and is expected to close in Q1.

At closing, voestalpine Bohler Profil will become part of Kadant's industrial processing reporting segment and will be renamed Kadant Profil, Kadant said.

Financial terms of the deal were not provided.
