Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) increased flight capacity on its Sydney-Sapporo route for the 2026 and 2027 season to up to five per week from three, following high demand during the ski season, the airline said in a statement on Friday.

The new schedule represents an over 50% increase for next season, adding over 10,000 seats, the airline said.

Non-stop flights between Sydney and Sapporo launched in December 2025.
