1305 ET - Apple's artificial intelligence plans will be a key point of focus during the company's quarterly earnings call, Wedbush Securities analysts say. The company is looking to revamp Siri to drive its AI strategy, picking Google's Gemini model to back the new version, the analysts say. The company also recently hired a key AI researcher and also expanded the role of its SVP of Hardware Engineering to encompass design work, they say. Now, "it's time for Apple to lay down the blueprint to accelerate its AI strategy in 2026," the analysts say, noting they think the management team can continue to reposition Apple to gain ground in the AI space.
