Shares in Teradyne $(TER)$ jumped more than 20% in premarket trading Tuesday, putting the stock on course to set new record highs.
Earnings late Monday showed that the company's semiconductor-testing business is booming, thanks to surging artificial-intelligence related demand. Shares in Teradyne, which also specializes in robotics, have already more than doubled in six months, lifting its market capitalization toward $40 billion.
