0742 GMT - Prada's Versace brand should keep its core DNA and stay true to its nature of baroque abundance despite the creative shift, Bernstein analyst Luca Solca says. The Italian luxury group named Pieter Mulier to lead creative work at fashion house Versace, the brand it acquired last year from Capri. The designer will join from Richemont's Alaia, where he holds the role of creative director. "The task for Mulier is to polish the core Versace DNA, update it and make it shine again," the analyst says. "Let's see if he can do as well with it, as he has done with Alaia." Prada's Hong Kong shares trade 1.4% lower. (andrea.figueras@wsj.com)
