Fox (FOX) unit Red Seat Ventures said Tuesday it has acquired Supercast, a subscription platform for podcast creators, to expand its creator-focused digital services portfolio.

The acquisition supports the unit in offering creators a single partner for advertising and subscription monetization while unifying primary revenue streams for podcast businesses, the company said.

Supercast will continue to operate autonomously under founder and Chief Executive Jason Sew Hoy, the company added.
