Guangdong Songfa Ceramics (SHA:603268) subsidiary Hengli Shipbuilding (Dalian) signed two construction contracts for 10 crude oil tankers worth between $700 million and $1 billion, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

The tankers can carry 158,000 deadweight tons, the filing said.

The company will build nine tankers for a company under Dynacom Tankers Management in Greece, and another unnamed European shipowner, the filing said.
