BUZZ-Australia's <a href="https://laohu8.com/S/DXC.AU">Dexus Convenience Retail REIT</a> soars on strong first-half profit

** Shares of Dexus Convenience Retail REIT DXC.AX rise 4.6% to A$2.76, post their biggest intraday percentage gain since January 22

** The convenience retail assets owner posts HY net profit after tax of A$35.8 million ($25.17 million), up from A$14.7 million a year ago

** Says co on track to deliver FY26 guidance, with funds from operations and distributions of 10.5 and 10.45 Australian cents, respectively

** About 199,950 shares change hands, vs the 30-day average of ~137,428 shares

** Stock hits highest level since February 3

** Stock down 1.8% this year, including the day's move

($1 = 1.4223 Australian dollars)
