- The Food and Drug Administration on Wednesday backtracked on its refusal to review Moderna's MRNA.O mRNA flu vaccine, while making an unusual public defence of its decisions on drug approvals.

- India Prime Minister Narendra Modi won a big reduction of sky-high tariffs, but critics say he undermined Indian sovereignty and undercut the nation's farmers.
