Kalamazoo Resources (ASX:KZR) said surface geochemistry programs at its Mt. Piper gold project in Victoria returned strong gold-antimony results, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Rock chip sampling at the historical Kurkuruk prospect mine area confirmed gold-antimony mineralization over a 670 meters strike, with results of up to 3.2 grams per tonne grade of gold and 1,427 parts-per-million grade of antimony.

Soil sampling at the Whiteheads Hill prospect defined a coherent gold-antimony-arsenic anomaly extending over 2.6 kilometers.

The firm added that air-core drilling in the next quarter will be focused on the Whiteheads Hill and Goldie North prospects to test near-surface mineralization.

The firm's shares fell 2% in recent trading on Thursday.
