Swiss stocks - Factors to watch on February 20

ZURICH/GDANSK, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Here are some of the main factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Friday:

NOVARTIS NOVN.S

Swiss drugmaker Novartis will sell its entire 70.68% stake in its listed Indian unit NOIN.BO to a private equity-led consortium for about $159 million, as part of a broader global restructuring.

U.S. President Donald Trump said he met Novartis CEO Vas Narasimhan at the White House on Wednesday, where Narasimhan told him that his company was building 11 U.S. plants as a result of the president's tariff policies.

The Swiss construction and automotive chemicals maker expects 2026 sales to rise between 1% and 4% in local currencies, the company said on Friday, and reported better-than-expected annual profit.
