** Shares of Medibank Private MPL.AX fall as much as 6.4% to A$4.485, marking their steepest intraday drop since April 7, 2025

** The health insurer reports an 11% drop in net profit attributable for the six-month period ended December 31 to A$302.9 million ($213.33 million), from A$340.3 million last year

** Co reports a non-recurring cybercrime costs of A$15.0 million, including further IT security uplift costs, others associated with the 2022 cybercrime event

** Stock down 6.1% YTD, including the session's moves
