Investor Stanley Druckenmiller's Duquesne Family Office took on new stakes in U.S. financial companies, Brazil stocks, and U.S. airlines among other shifts in the fourth quarter as he added to stakes of Google and Amazon.

The firm's quarterly regulatory filing indicated a new 5.5 million-share stake in the State Street Financial Select Sector exchange-traded fund, plus a 3.6 million-share stake in the iShares MSCI Brazil ETF. It also reported new stakes in American Airlines (640,000 shares), Delta Air Lines (651,000), and United Airlines (348,000). The firm also held calls on the Brazil ETF, which is a bullish bet on the price rising.

The stakes are reported as of Dec. 31 and may have shifted since then.

Duquesne reported no holdings of PG&E, down from 1.65 million shares previously, and no stake in Nu Holdings, down from 1.45 million.

In addition, the family office reported an increased stake in Alphabet (385,000 shares, up from 102,000) and Amazon (738,000, up from 437,000).
