GPT Infraprojects (NSE:GPTINFRA, BOM:533761) said its joint venture with Rail Vikas Nigam (NSE:RVNL, BOM:542649) secured a contract worth 12 billion Indian rupees, according to an Indian bourse filing on Tuesday.
The company's share in the JV is 4.81 billion rupees, representing 40% of the total project value, the filing said.
The project involves constructing a new rail-cum-road bridge over the Ganga river near Kashi Railway Station, with four railway tracks on the lower deck and six road lanes on the upper deck, including approaches, electrification, and associated works, the filing said.
Completion is planned within 1,461 days from the appointed date.
