Alphabet's (GOOGL, GOOG) Google is facing three proposed class actions alleging that the tech company shared consumer information with China-based companies, violating the 2025 Bulk Sensitive Data Rule, Bloomberg reported Friday, citing separate complaints filed Thursday in California.

Plaintiffs alleged that Google intercepts US consumers' browsing activity data and passes the information to third parties part of Google's "advertising ecosystem," such as firms controlled by the Chinese government, Bloomberg reported, citing the lawsuits.

These companies include Baidu (BIDU) subsidiary MediaGo, ByteDance-operated Pangle, and PDD (PDD) online shopping platform Temu, according to the complaints, the report added.

The Bulk Sensitive Data Rule restricts sending US government-related data or US personal sensitive data to "countries of concern," including China, Russia and Iran.

Google did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
