0842 ET - Hormel Foods' F1Q readout didn't contain any surprises, as results were largely consistent with last week's preliminary report, according to JPMorgan in a research note. It did leave some questions unanswered, though. The analysts say they are particularly interested to hear about the food company's F2Q expectations on the earnings call. They're also looking for additional details on the sale of Hormel's turkey business, as information has been limited so far. Hormel's full-year outlook doesn't include the pending sale of the whole-bird turkey business, the analysts note, adding the company expects "minimal impact" to adjusted EPS as a result.
