APAC Resources (HKG:1104) recorded an attributable profit of HK$1.86 billion for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2025, compared with an attributable loss of HK$309.9 million a year prior, according to a Feb. 27 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the natural source investment and commodity trading business were up nearly 4% in Monday afternoon trading.
Earnings per share stood at HK$1.2327, compared with a loss per share of HK$0.2284 in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Turnover for the half year climbed to HK$2.88 billion from HK$1.15 billion in the year-ago period.
The firm said the profit was mainly driven by a strong performance in its resource investment segment.
