Elite UK REIT to Implement Dual Currency Trading

Elite UK REIT (SGX:MXNU) said the trading of its units will start in Singapore dollars along with pound sterling, effective March 16, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Through dual currency trading, the REIT will have improved fungibility for investors, the filing said.

With this, the unitholders will continue to have the option of receiving their distributions in pound sterling or Singapore dollars, the filing said.

Trades made in the Singapore dollars counter will be settled through Singapore Exchange Securities Trading, it added.
