Byrna Technologies named Conn Davis, most recently an executive vice president at MasterBrand, as its new chief executive, taking over from Bryan Ganz, who is retiring.

Ganz became CEO in 2019 after joining the company's board in 2016.

Davis worked at MasterBrand as executive vice president of strategy and corporate development. Prior to joining MasterBrand, he was the director of strategy at Fortune Brands Home & Security.

Davis will receive a base salary of $450,000 a year and will have a target annual bonus equal to 100% of his salary. He also will receive a 2026 annual equity award with a target value of $750,000 and a new-hire equity award with a target value of $250,000.

The company also said that TJ Kennedy would succeed Herbert Hughes as chair of the company's board.
