WeRide (WRD), Baidu's (BIDU) Apollo Go, and Pony AI (PONY) have adjusted their operations in the Middle East due to the ongoing conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran, news outlets reported Tuesday, citing the ride-hailing companies.

All of WeRide's robotaxis in Dubai have been parked inside, Yicai Global reported Monday, citing a WeRide employee, who added that all of the company's employees are working from home.

Apollo Go has temporarily halted its self-driving vehicle testing across the UAE, while its autonomous commercial service is operating normally in Abu Dhabi, news outlets reported.

A Baidu spokesperson told MT Newswires in an e-mailed statement that the company is "closely monitoring the evolving situation" in the Middle East and is in "close coordination with local regulators and will adjust" its operations as needed.

Pony AI also suspended road testing operations in Dubai and Qatar's Doha, but resumed them later in Doha, Yicai reported, citing the company.

WeRide and Pony AI didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.

WeRide shares were down 6.4% in recent premarket activity, while Baidu fell 4.1%. Pony AI was down 4.3%.
