Electric auto manufacturer Xiaomi (HKG:1810) is establishing a committee to assess the safety of its cars following a string of accidents involving its vehicles, Reuters reported Friday.
The Chinese carmaker also plans to consult with car owners, media and experts to get their insights on the safety of its vehicles, the report said, citing Hou Jinglei, head of Xiaomi's EV safety department.
