BYD (HKG:1211, SHE:002594) sold 190,190 vehicles in February, down from 322,846 a year earlier, according to a Sunday filing to the Hong Kong bourse.

Of the total, 187,782 were passenger vehicles, and 2,408 were commercial vehicles, the filing showed.

The carmaker produced 175,280 vehicles in February, down from 334,124 units a year ago.

Passenger vehicle output totaled 172,525 units, while commercial vehicle production reached 2,755 units.
