Electro Optic Systems Holdings (ASX:EOS) secured two orders, one valued at about AU$17 million and the other valued at between AU$1 million and AU$2 million, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company said the first order, valued at about AU$17 million, is for R400 Remote Weapon Systems with 30mm cannons to an established customer that is the government of a Middle Eastern GCC country. The systems are intended to strengthen defense capabilities amid escalating regional tensions and are expected to be delivered in 2026 and 2027, the filing added.

The second order is for one naval R800 Remote Weapon System to a large established prime contractor in India, valued at between AU$1 million and AU$2 million, and includes RWS, platform/weapon integration services and demo/trial support.

EOS said the prime contractor is competing to supply an end-user requirement for more than 130 systems and that it will work closely with the contractor and end users during 2026 and 2027 to support integration and trials. There is no guarantee that any follow-on order will be received, the filing added.

EOS said it has been in negotiations with several Middle Eastern governments throughout 2025 to provide advanced air defense systems, including counter-drone systems, and ongoing military conflict could accelerate those opportunities, though there is no guarantee that additional orders will be secured.

EOS said it is aware of media reports that the UAE and South Korea have announced a $35 billion defense industry co-operation agreement and understands that the planned co-operation extends to supply chains for integrated air defence systems, including counter-drone technology.

The company said it has been in discussions with a local manufacturing partner in the UAE to develop proposals for UAE-based manufacturing of its remote weapon systems, in addition to a previously disclosed conditional $80 million contract with Goldrone that could lead to future high-energy laser weapon manufacturing in Singapore or Korea. There is no guarantee that any such orders will be secured, the filing added.

The company's shares surged past 13% in recent Monday trade.
