Omada Health Rises on Swing to 4Q Profit

Shares of Omada Health rose after the company swung to an unexpected profit in the fourth quarter.

Shares were up 2.1% to $13.89 on Friday. The stock has fallen 40% in the past 12 months.

The digital health company on Thursday posted a profit of $5.2 million, or 8 cents a share, compared with a loss of $8.3 million, or $1.04 a share, a year earlier.

Revenue rose to $75.8 million, up from $48 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting a loss of 3 cents a share and revenue of $70.2 million.

For the current year, the company is expecting revenue between $312 million and $322 million, representing 22% year-over-year growth at the midpoint. It is forecasting adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization between $7 million and $15 million.

Analysts had expected revenue of $312.3 million and adjusted Ebitda of $4.2 million prior to the guidance.
