Boss Energy Says Heavy Rainfall Impacts Honeymoon Uranium Operations; Lowers Fiscal Q3 Production Outlook

Boss Energy (ASX:BOE) said heavy rainfall has disrupted operations at its South Australian Honeymoon Uranium Project, hampering production for the fiscal third quarter, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The weather conditions have restricted site access and hindered the company from securing reagents and other goods for production.

The company expects deliveries and production to resume by March 14 and will continue with a planned shutdown until then to tie in new plant, wellfield and power systems to reinforce production capacity.

The uranium producer now projects its fiscal third quarter uranium oxide production outlook to fall further to 240,000 to 270,000 pounds, down from 456,000 pounds.

Boss Energy, however, maintained its fiscal 2026 uranium oxide production outlook of 1.6 million pounds.
