TotalEnergies (TTE) said Thursday that production has restarted at the Mabruk oil field in Libya, which is located onshore about 130 kilometers south of Sirte.
Production from the field, where the French energy giant owns a 37.5% stake,
was stopped in 2015, the company said.
A newly constructed facility with a daily capacity of 25,000 barrels began operating on Feb. 28 following a nearly two-year development period, the company said.
