Neometals (ASX:NMT) updated the indicated and inferred mineral resource estimate for the Ironclad deposit at its Barrambie project in Western Australia to about 285,000 tonnes at 1.6 grams per tonne (g/t) for 15,000 ounces gold, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The estimate also includes a subset of higher-grade mineralization containing roughly 180,000 tonnes at 2.1 g/t for 12,000 ounces gold, the filing said.
The initial inferred mineral resource for the deposit was estimated at 250,000 tonnes at 1.6 g/t for 13,000 ounces gold, according to a separate filing in June 2025.
Shares rose nearly 2% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
