Microsoft (MSFT) is in advanced discussions to lease hundreds of megawatts of data-center capacity at an AI campus in Abilene, Texas, The Information said Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

Meta Platforms (META) is also in discussion to lease the site after Oracle (ORCL) withdrew from talks, the report said.

Crusoe is developing the Abilene campus, and Oracle currently operates part of it for OpenAI, the report said.

Microsoft did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
