Eni (E) controlled company Plenitude said Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with Methagora to source 50 GWh of biomethane per year in France over a 15-year period.
Under the deal, Methagora will supply biomethane produced from agricultural areas across France, the company said.
The agreement follows the country's Biomethane Production Certificates scheme aimed at supporting biomethane production, it added.
