Venezuela has signed "strategic agreements" on gas production with Repsol REP.MC and Italy's Eni ENI.MI, the government of the South American country said on Thursday.

Mapfre has improved its targeted combined ratio to between 93% and 94% for 2026, the final year of its current strategic plan, the Spanish (re)insurer announced on Friday.

Ezentis said on Friday it issued new tranche of convertible bonds totalling 550,000 euros.

Seat is exploring entry into the light-military-vehicle business in partnership with Indra, with both sides interested in reaching a deal supported by Spain's government push to link automotive and defence sectors, Spanish newspaper Cinco Dias reported on Monday, citing several people familiar with the talks.

Scranton is close to cancelling the internal debt it holds with BPC Plasma and Haema through dividend payments, which would allow Grifols to repurchase both units from the Dutch entity free of liabilities, Spanish online news website El Economista reported on Monday.

FLUIDRA FLUI.MC

Fluidra has opened a global R&D centre in Shenzhen, China to support its innovation strategy and boost development of advanced pool-technology solutions, Spanish economic newspaper Expansion reported on Sunday.

COX COXGA.MC

Cox has closed full financing for its $4.2 billion acquisition of Iberdrola Mexico, with Goldman Sachs contributing $200 million to complete the equity line and taking a stake in the deal vehicle, Spanish online news website El Confidencial reported on Monday, citing people close to the transaction.
