BCE (BCE) said Monday it is increasing its financial outlook for the three-year period ending 2028, due to a planned 1.7 billion Canadian dollar ($1.24 billion) 300-megawatt data center in Sherwood municipality, situated in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The company boosted its projected revenue compound annual growth rate of the period of 2025 to 2028 to a range of 2.5% to 4.5%, compared with the previous range of 2% to 4%.
BCE also increased the forecasted free cash flow compound annual growth rate to around 8.5% for the period from 7% previously.
Coreweave (CRWV) and AI technology firm Cerebras will provide AI computing power and wafer-scale technology in the facility, respectively, in a collaboration with BCE, the company said.
Construction of the facility, which is expected to generate economic value of CA$12 billion, is scheduled in spring 2026, and the project's first phase anticipated to come online in H1 of 2027, BCE said.
