Kirloskar Ferrous Industries (BOM:500245) said operations at one of its high-pressure moulding lines at the Solapur plant in India have been temporarily affected due to disruption in liquefied petroleum gas supply, according to a Tuesday filing on Indian bourses.
Shares of the company rose over 3% in Wednesday's trade.
The disruption is linked to global energy supply issues arising from the ongoing Middle East conflict, the company said.
The impact has been effective from March 17 and will continue until further notice, while the company explores alternate supply sources to mitigate the disruption, the filing said.
