S&P Global (SPGI) said Wednesday it completed the acquisition of Enertel AI, a firm that uses AI to forecast short-term electricity prices in North America.

The company said the addition strengthens its Energy division, which already provides long-term market data and forecasts.

S&P Global said the acquisition is not expected to materially affect its financial results.
