Western Gold Resources (ASX:WGR) secured road user agreements with Main Roads WA and the Shire of Wiluna to advance its Gold Duke project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The agreements grant access to both the Sandstone-Wiluna Road and the Goldfields Highway for the haulage of ore from the project site to the processing plant, the filing said.

Western Gold Resources shares fell 3% in afternoon trade on Wednesday.
