DevEx Resources (ASX:DEV) said results from its ongoing surface geochemical sampling program at the Murphy West uranium project in the Northern Territory continued to define several kilometer-scale uranium drill targets, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The company collected 890 soil samples at Murphy West as part of the ongoing campaign designed to evaluate 20 priority radiometric anomalies, the filing said. Recent soil geochemistry results outlined several new kilometer-scale multi-element soil anomalies displaying similar pathfinder geochemistry to those associated with uranium mineralization at nearby deposits.

DevEx is exploring the Murphy West project under three separate earn-in agreements covering granted tenure held by Barkly Rare Earths (ASX:BAK) and GSW Minerals, and exploration license applications held by Trek Metals (ASX:TKM).

DevEx's shares rose past 8% in recent trading on Wednesday, while those of Barkly gained over 2%.
