Marvell Technology (MRVL) said Tuesday it is introducing a new switch device, the Structera S 30260, which is designed to improve how data centers manage memory.
The switch device allows hyperscalers and data center operators to access shared memory across a rack, increasing capacity and efficiency without needing to replace existing systems. The Structera S 30260 is expected to be available for customer testing in Q3, the company said.
Marvell also launched the Structera S 60260, a new chip that acts as a PCIe 6.0 switch, helping move data within artificial intelligence data centers.
The device is designed to support larger and more complex systems by increasing performance and flexibility. The chip is expected to begin customer testing in Q3, with early samples already available, the company said.
