Nexstar Media Group (NXST) said late Thursday it completed its acquisition of Tegna (TGNA), following approval from the Federal Communications Commission and US Department of Justice.

In August, the companies agreed a $6.2 billion deal for Nexstar Media to acquire Tegna.
