Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) said air-core drilling started at its Yellow Cat uranium-vanadium project in Utah, with a total of 1,000 meters to be drilled across 24 holes to the east of the known historical resource, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The program seeks to confirm that the mineralization extends for 4,500 meters between known uranium and vanadium historical workings, the filing said.
An exploration program is also planned, consisting of reverse circulation and diamond drilling, that twins historical drill holes in the central block to confirm the assay results of historical drill holes, per the filing.
Anson Resources' shares rose past 6% in recent trading on Tuesday.
