Orica (ASX:ORI) acknowledged media reports of an outage at a Western Australia ammonia supplier and confirmed it is actively managing supply by using existing inventory and its global supply network, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company is also addressing an unexpected outage at its Kooragang Island ammonia plant in New South Wales, which it expects to resolve soon, the filing said.
The company stated that it is closely monitoring the situation and does not expect any major financial effects from the disruptions, the filing added.
The company's shares were up almost 2% in recent Tuesday trade.
