Journey Medical Shares Retreat After Annual Revenue Misses Wall Street's Estimate

Shares of Journey Medical fell after the company reported 2025 revenue that missed Wall Street's expectations due to falling sales for Accutane, treatment for severe cases of acne

The stock was down 7.7% to $6.30 in post-market trading on Wednesday, falling deeper into negative territory after closing the regular trading session off by 1.2%. Shares are up 5.4% in the past year.

The commercial-stage pharmaceutical company reported a full-year loss of $11.4 million, or 47 cents a share, compared with a loss of $14.7 million, or 72 cents a share, in 2024.

Revenue rose to $61.9 million, up from $56.1 million in 2024. Analysts polled by FactSet were expecting $64.6 million in revenue.

Growth in revenue was driven by inaugural sales for and the commercialization of Emrosi. That was offset by competitive pressures on Accutane revenue, which fell by $6.5 million.
