Chinese self-driving company ZYT's driving software will use its mobility foundation model to drive on its own, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing CEO Shen Shaojie.

The AI system was also given video from drones, robots, household vacuum cleaners, and other road users, the report said.

This contrasts with other models that use dedicated "modules" to detect vehicles, pedestrians, or traffic lights while training the system based on geography and traffic patterns, the report said.

ZYT will launch the self-driving system at an auto show in Beijing in April, according to the report.

It is also looking to list in Hong Kong as early as 2027, the report said.
