Lindsay shares fell after the company's fiscal second-quarter results came in lower than expected.

The stock fell 6% to $109.96 Thursday, at one point touching a 52-week low of $105.07. Shares are down 7% this year.

The Omaha, Neb., manufacturer recorded revenue of $157.7 million in the fiscal second quarter, below the $171.4 million analysts polled by FactSet expected.

Earnings were $1.15 a share, also missing analysts' estimates of $1.70 a share.

The irrigation market, which Lindsay Corp. serves, has soft demand in the U.S. as growers await further trade certainty and hope to see improvement in commodity prices, Chief Executive Randy Wood said.
