Beetaloo Energy Australia (ASX:BTL) completed all civil works for the Carpentaria Gas Plant in January, with piling crews due to complete their activities in the coming weeks, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

Access to the site has been limited to light vehicles due to heavy rainfall, and work will resume when heavy-vehicle access is deemed safe, the company said.

In Roma, Queensland, Beetaloo has completed all planned gas plant refurbishment and modifications, and the plant is ready for transport to the site beginning this month.

The company said it expects commissioning activities in the third quarter, immediately followed by gas sales.
