Kee Ming Group (KLSE:KEEMING) unit Kee Ming Electrical secured a deal worth 6.7 million ringgit for electrical and commissioning works at a hyperscale data center in Elmina Business Park, Malaysia, according to a Friday Malaysian bourse filing.

Shares gained over 1% in Monday's late morning trade.

The contract covers fit-out, installation, testing, and commissioning for data center halls 1 and 3.

The deal was awarded by a third-party contractor specializing in M&E and data centre infrastructure solutions, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31.
