UFP Industries (UFPI) unit Deckorators said Monday it acquired the remaining operating assets of MoistureShield decking to expand manufacturing capabilities and bolster its outdoor product portfolio.

The acquisition, which includes an Arkansas facility, is expected to support product development and the delivery of expanded offerings to contractors, distributors, and homeowners, according to a statement.

The acquisition and additional investments at the facility are expected to boost Deckorators' wood-plastic composite capacity to $200 million by 2027, according to the company.
