Cemtrex (CETX) said Tuesday its subsidiary, Invocon, has been selected as an "apparently" successful offeror for a Phase 1 small business innovation research contract with the Naval Sea Systems Command.

Shares soared 73% as intraday trading volume catapulted to over 135.7 million from a daily average of about 2.15 million.

Shares of UnitedHealth (UNH) and Humana (HUM) rose after the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced a larger-than-expected rise to Medicare Advantage payments for 2027.

UnitedHealth soared more than 10%, with over 15.0 million traded intraday, versus a daily average of roughly 9.76 million.

Humana advanced 8.3% amid a rise in intraday trading volume to over 3.25 million from a daily average of roughly 2.07 million.
