Kelsian Group's (ASX:KLS) shares were up nearly 1% in recent trading on Tuesday after it said late on April 2 that its UK unit, Huyton Travel, secured contracts from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) for bus services.
The contracts relate to the operation and maintenance of 73 buses, operating services from two leased depot facilities, and the initial term is for five years, beginning in January 2027. The contracts have a further two-year extension option.
They are expected to generate around AU$80 million in total revenue across the term and will require new capital investment of around AU$8 million.
