LATAM Airlines (LTM) said late Thursday that it recorded a 9.3% year-over-year increase in consolidated capacity in March, measured in available seat-kilometers, driven by growth in domestic operations in Brazil and expanding international routes.

Traffic, measured in revenue passenger-kilometers, rose about 12% from a year earlier, led by a roughly 16% increase in Brazil's domestic market and a nearly 13% rise in international operations, the company said.

The group's consolidated load factor reached about 84% in March, up 1.9 percentage points year over year, while Q1 load factor stood at more than 85%, the airline said.

LATAM said it transported 7.6 million passengers during the month, up 9%.
