Lightbridge (LTBR) said Wednesday the European Patent Office has issued a notice of allowance for a patent covering its multi-zone nuclear fuel element design.

The allowance extends intellectual property protection across 39 European countries, and the patent covers fuel elements manufactured through additive manufacturing, the company said.
